Senior year came faster than i thought and still hasn't completely hit me that we only have one school year left in Highschool and soon we will be facing the real world. I started off senior year as a cheerleader and so far hasn't been the best start off to senior year. My last 3 years in high school have been all different in many ways from educational priorities to friendships. Finishing junior year with 7 competitive classes gave me a small feel about what senior year would most likely be. I'm taking one AP class this school year. Senior year has been very different from my last three years educational wise since we got about 12 new learning facilitators and a whole new time schedule, It is very stressful because these new learning facilitators are learning the system and we have to go at their learning pace which is stressful because since we’ve been working with this system for three years we know how it works and we know we have a deadline this year especially since it’s senior year. Working on my senior project is a bittersweet feeling.. having to reflect on all three school years has really brought to my attention how much everything has changed especially my priorities. My goal this school year is to stay on pace especially in my AP Spanish Literature class and walk down that football field with honors. I joined the cheer squad for my third year and i coach a youth cheer squad and work a part time job on weekends. Having to do this everyday for the next few months i hope to learn at least one thing from this experience, i hope to learn how to manage my time and stay very organized. If i could start senior year again i would start it differently. I have one main thing i would like to change about myself during senior year and it would be my attitude towards others. My attitude towards others has gotten extremely out of hand lately to the point where i will be facing consequences and it disappoints me because i would've never thought or wanted it to get to that point. As senior year is approaching faster than i thought, i've come to realize that friendships and relationships are my last priorities and focusing on my education has become my first. I hope to make the best out of senior year and have fun but most of all hope to make my parents proud towards the end of this school year. I am very excited to see what senior year has in store for me. College applications are coming sooner than i thought and gets me excited and nervous to know where i will get into. I hope to attend CSU Monterey Bay or CSU Sacramento State in the future and major in liberal studies. Sometime during my college experience i hope to get the opportunity to travel to another country and study abroad for a semester.
